The live broadcast had just started, and there were no disturbances from the online audience yet, so the atmosphere in the live broadcast room remained calm.

As the bus came to a stop, Mu Changshu glanced down at Chu Yu, who was quietly resting on his lap. He gently called out, “Mom, we’ve arrived~.”

Chu Yu woke slowly, her eyes fluttering open at his voice.

“Are we here?”

As she opened her eyes, Chu Yu found Mu Changshu’s face close to hers, causing her heart to skip a beat.

 “Yeah, mom, we’re here!”

Mu Changshu hadn’t realized how close they were, which surprised Chu Yu when she opened her eyes. He responded to her words with excitement.

At five years old, Mu Changshu had never traveled outside Yunjing City, and now that they were in this new place, he felt quite thrilled.

“Let’s get going,” Chu Yu said as she sat up straight and stood, stretching a bit.

After taking a few steps, she noticed Mu Changshu was still in the back seat of the bus, looking at her with anticipation.

“Huh? What’s going on?” Chu Yu turned to look at Mu Changshu.

Mu Changshu’s cheeks turned slightly pink. He lowered his gaze, fidgeted with his fingers, and said hesitantly, “Mom, my… my legs feel a bit funny.”

His face was a bit flushed.

In the next moment, Chu Yu couldn’t help but laugh.

This little cub is simply adorable!

“Come here, I’ll help you.” 

Since she had been pressing on his legs, it was only fair that she cared for him.

 Mu Changshu nodded.

She opened her arms to Chu Yu.

Chu Yu had never held a little cub before, so when she cradled him, she felt awkward. Mu Changshu adjusted him into a more comfortable position in Chu Yu’s arms before they got off the bus.

Being held like this, resting on Chu Yu’s shoulder, Mu Changshu looked content and smiled softly.

Earlier in the day, and now again, this marks the second time her mother has embraced her today.

She felt so joyful that it seemed like she could almost soar.

 After getting off the bus, the other children stood beside their mothers, but Chu Yu embraced Mu Changshu, which made him noticeably different from the other four groups.

Except for Ding Chengsi, who had just argued with Mu Changshu, the other three children looked over at him.

In particular, Shen Puming and Tong Ran watched Mu Changshu in Chu Yu’s embrace with a hint of longing, although their feelings were mild.

Song Jiaojie, who couldn’t fly high, leaned gently on Valen Hsu’s shoulder.

This illustrates the difference between Shen Puming Tong Ran and Song Jiaojie. While Song Jiaojie can ask for a hug from her mother and act a bit pampered, the others find it more challenging.

Tong Ran is doing well. Before she turned four, she enjoyed moments like this.

 Shen Puming couldn’t recall ever receiving a hug. His father, a movie star, was often away from home. After his birth, his biological mother and father separated. Chu Xinyue became his stepmother, while the nanny mostly cared for him.
